      Liam Dawe · news.movim.eu / GamingOnLinux · Thursday, 11 June, 2020 - 18:12

Here's an interesting game bundle for racing game enthusiasts. The Humble Codemasters Bundle 2020 is now live with a number of good games.

Some of them support Linux, some do not, so I've put those that do in bold for you to make it easier to identify at a glance if you're interested in what it offers.

If you go for only the initial tier at £1 you get:

    • GRID Autosport
    • Overlord II
    • Toybox Turbos
    • Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising

Pay more than the average for access to:

    • DiRT Rally
    • DiRT 4 + Hyundai R5 rally car DLC + Team Booster Pack DLC
    • F1® 2018 + Headline Content Pack DLC

For the top tier the last games are:

    • F1 2019
    • DiRT Rally 2

See the full bundle here if interested.

Additionally, Humble Store is giving away a FREE copy of Snake Pass . No Linux support on that but you can try it in Steam Play Proton if you wish.

Deep Sky Derelicts: Definitive Edition is out now with a juicy free patch for everyone

      Liam Dawe · news.movim.eu / GamingOnLinux · Tuesday, 24 March, 2020 - 18:05 · 1 minute

Deep Sky Derelicts: Definitive Edition, a nice blending of squad management and turn-based battles with a real gritty atmosphere and some stylish graphics is out now.

"Deep Sky Derelicts: Definitive Edition features an original board game-like turn-based combat system with a unique card mechanic that makes every battle encounter feel tactically diverse. The core RPG exploration gameplay is further enriched with rogue-like elements, while the distinctive hand-drawn inky art style, heavily inspired by retro-futuristic sci-fi comic books, creates a compelling gritty world of the dark dystopian future."

This is a bundle that brings the main game and two DLC together as a whole, which replaces another bundle that only had a single DLC. However, it's much more than that (see below) but first check out the shiny new trailer available:

For everyone, it includes quite a big update to the main game even if you don't buy the bundle or any DLC. This fresh update includes gamepad support, more customization items, improved combat feedback, a reworked and polished UI, expanded tutorial tips, balance overhaul, AI updates, bug fixes, performance improvements and more. Overall, a nice bump for a game that's been out since 2018.

    Feature Highlight:

    • Fresh take on turn-based combat with cards
    • Refined sci-fi comic book look & feel
    • Endless customization options for characters and scavenging teams
    • High replay value thanks to procedural generation of content
    • Story of the human society divided within a dystopian universe
    • Two game modes: story and arena

You can buy the x on GOG and Steam . Also on Humble Store but they currently only have the base edition and then individual DLC, they may see the Definitive Edition bundle later.

A new Humble Choice month is up with AI War II, Battle Chasers: Nightwar, Turok and more

      Liam Dawe · news.movim.eu / GamingOnLinux · Friday, 6 March, 2020 - 19:58 · 1 minute

Another month, another fresh curated selection of games you can grab from Humble Choice and it looks like quite a nice selection for March.

This was previously Humble Monthly, only now it's split across different tiers and you pick the games you want to keep from a list. The different tiers all give you a Humble Store discount and access to a ton of DRM-free games in the Humble Trove, the price varies on how many games you wish to pick each month.

Here's what you can pick from in March, those in bold have Linux support:

    • AI War 2
    • Battle Chasers: Nightwar
    • EXAPUNKS
    • Fell Seal: Arbiter's Mark
    • Niffelheim
    • Turok

These are also options to pick but no actual Linux support, Steam Play may work but as with everything in Steam Play Proton there's no guarantees it will work now or in future:

Additionally, this month all subscribers on it get a sneak-peak at the upcoming One Step from Eden and a new Humble Original with Space Routine.

If any of that takes you fancy, head over to the Humble Choice website to subscribe and pick up some games for the weekend.
